Sundays at 10:00 a.m. (Summer schedule: July through Labor Day weekend at 9:00 a.m.) Sunday morning worship at St. Paul’s is a welcoming and uplifting time to gather, reflect, and connect—both with God and with one another. As people arrive, they’re warmly greeted and invited to settle in, whether through a quiet moment of prayer or simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere before the service begins. Each service includes readings from the Bible, prayers for the community and the wider world, and a message from Pastor Ben. His sermons are thoughtful and encouraging, offering insight and practical ways to carry faith into everyday life. There’s a gentle balance of reverence and togetherness throughout the service. At times, the congregation may share a sign of peace, respond with an “Amen,” or simply sit in stillness. However you choose to participate, all are welcome. Sunday School is also offered for children, providing a warm and engaging space for them to learn and grow in their faith. By the end of the morning, many leave feeling refreshed, encouraged, and more deeply connected—ready to carry that sense of peace and purpose into the week ahead.
Incorporation and Affiliation
St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, the oldest Protestant denomination in America, established in New York in 1628. Our church was founded in Perth Amboy, NJ on October 8, 1888
The St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church is a local church called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to witness to the grace and love of God revealed in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our shared mission is to combine our resources to worship and walk humbly with our God, while striving to be a community of faith that proclaims the Gospel in the languages of our locale. St. Paul's will continue to assist with the welfare of our city, surrounding communities, and beyond. We believe that God has called us to be a church where all ages can develop in the Christian faith and receive spiritual support.
St. Paul's is a multicultural congregation that worships simultaneously in both English and Spanish. We strive to assist the welfare of our members through our Deacon's Fund; our community by donating food to those in need; and our country by raising funds for disaster relief, and other causes.
We invite you to attend our services and join us in fellowship and community-building events held during the course of the year. We are a caring congregation and believe that God has called us to be a church where all ages can develop in the Christian faith.
Thank you, St. Paul's members and friends for your generosity to our church in the past. During this unexpected season of closure, we continue to need your support. You can either give by check (St. Paul's Reformed Church, mail to: Phil Koncsol, Treasurer @ 5 Lafayette Ave., Edison, NJ 08837), or sign up to give online to St. Paul's thru get.tithe.ly. Your giving will receive credit and be deposited directly in the church bank account, so that Phil can pay the bills. Any questions, please reach out to Pastor Ben at (thealiceas6@gmail.com). Blessings!

We hope that you have liked what you have seen in our new website. Whether you are looking for a community church, have helped us by your service, or through your donations, we THANK YOU! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
